Simone was born and raised in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. In 2003 she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. Deciding to pursue her creative side, she graduated from the Jewellery Art & Design program at Vancouver Community College in 2007. She now works out of her Vancouver studio.
